Template Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Almost every girlfriend I've ever had, and friends that are girls, always tell me that their initial impression of me, is that I was a player. Now assuming that someone is a player upon first impression is a bad thing, I just want to know from you ladies (and guys I would guess of woman), what is it that would ring the bell "PLAYER ALERT!" upon first meeting someone. Oh, I guess I should describe myself: Just your average looking dude, 5'11", large bone frame (weight fluctuates +/- 30 lbs depending on the time of the year). I'm not a fashion whore as my style is simple (dress shirt top button, unbuttoned, dark jeans). Got no bling whatsoever. I'm an introvert, but have no problems initiating or maintaining a discussion when needed. I strive to be sincere and honest, but I don't suffer fools and don't mind speaking my mind when appropriate. I've never cheated, though can't say never been cheated on. I don't know... what is it that would make women say "He's a player" without even getting to know me
Ody Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I don't know... what is it that would make women say "He's a player" without even getting to know me Are they right?
boogieboy Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Could be how you talk to them... If youre really smooth, sly smile, charming, then they say that.
Author Template Posted November 12, 2009 Author Posted November 12, 2009 I've never once considered myself a smooth cat y'know what I mean. I think I'm pretty witty, and funny, but no more so than any other person... hmmm...
phineas Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I get women telling me all the time i'm an ass. Yet, they still keep coming back to talk to me. go figure.
Malenfant Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 you sound like a confident guy. for me, almost all of it has to do with the way a man stands and holds himself. body language says it all and if you give off a confident vibe, that could be why they think that. if you have a high testosterone level, people can also sense that.
Pizzaman81 Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I think women don't really want a player but want a player, got it? They want someone who's confident and knows how to communicate, like a player does.. but actually not a player. It's like how we want our women to all look like a playboy model but secretly don't really want them to pose naked in front of random men. -Pizzaman
alphamale Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I don't know... what is it that would make women say "He's a player" without even getting to know me because some women are just plain stupid and superficial
torranceshipman Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 You sound cute, lol! Maybe you're just a good catch, and women aren't used to meeting guys who are a good catch and NOT a player. It's easy to assume that if you're handsome, witty, smart, well dressed and so on, you MUSt be a player! Let them get to know you and you'll change their minds. The good news is that saying you're a player probably suggests that they find you attractive on some level...
boogieboy Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I get women telling me all the time i'm an ass. Yet, they still keep coming back to talk to me. go figure. You know how that works Phineas... To be e jerk, tease them, they say your an ass. Its when they have no comeback to you teasing them. I love that reaction, its so telling.
MeganDoll Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 if you have a high testosterone level, people can also sense that. Dont most men?? How can you tell if he has a high level? And does that make you a player necassarily? Though theyres been some guys who i usually wouldnt be into but theyre was somethign about him where he seemed fertile If men seem fertile that could make an average guy hot
