WRT numbers, that mindset/perspective will both make one more attractive to people who have the numbers mindset/perspective as well as validate one's power through the concept of options and social proof.

I'm not much into those SS 'theories' but understand they do work for a subset of the population who believe in them. Again, it's about compatibility. If your brother becomes a 'plate spinner', is that who he is? Does he believe in that philosophy as his truth? He'll have to for it to work for him. Otherwise, it'll just be a facade.

FWIW, covert options garnered me a divorce and the attendant fiscal and emotional pain, so YMMV :)

What SS stands for? It is not Waffen SS, I suppose :)

Happend to you that you wasted precious time on girls without even getting laid just because you dated one at a time? Do you see it as a problem in retrospect?

I would presume that if she goes to clubs, her numbers are high. I would presume if she's never been single for more than 5 minute sin her life, her numbers are high.

These statements make absolutely no sense.

I've seen folks tossed out of clubs for getting too touchy feely, so there is no sense in assuming folks are screwing in clubs. IT would violate the conditions of many places liquor license. Too much money to be lost.

And if a girl hasn't been single why would that mean she has high numbers? It only really means she has at least one partner. Single people rack up numbers. If they get in a steady relationship, it only makes it harder to get more partners. If they wanted more partners, they would stay single.

 wow!

I wondered too what that comment meant, that makes no sense.

Interesting enough, I have a female friend who is 30 and single, she's been single for about 3 years, pretty much dates every man and their mother (not literally of course), yet has only had sex with 4 people.

Women who have not been single for more than 5 minute sin their life are like monkeys swining from vine to vine. THey never let go of the prior one until they have a secure grasp on the next one. These women will find a replacement for their current bf while they already have one, involves cheating, then they dump the current for the new one they have secured. They are already in the honeymoon phase so they feel no guilt for cheating and dumping the former boyfriend. How else do you think someone can go their entire lives never being single? They are inherently cheaters.

Your female friend is so called Serial Dater :D

Linguistic question:

I thought the saying is "every man and his dog" not mother? You could wrote "father" instead, it would make more sense and without the need for "not literally" clause.

Yes she is. And when she was in a Relationship, she was a serial monogomist....

So what's your point exactly?

Huh?!? My grandmother was married young so she was probably single for "5 minutes in her life". She is not a swinger. You're just into making assumptions. Making assumptions and over reacting (and then telling folks THEY're over reacting).

And once again, until you are a woman, you don't know what women do ro why or how their lives work. Maybe that is why you seem to guess how many partners one has had. It just bugs you that you cannot know for certain, but they certainly get more attention than you. You're jealous.

My point is a question. What is a correct way to say that saying?....is it:

every man and his....

a) dog

b) mother

???

So you're saying that the women who go from boyfriend to boyfriend without any gap in time in between are being faithful?

I've got a bridge in brooklyn to sell ya.

No I'm saying exactly what I said. That people who didn't spend much time being single are also people who are monogamous. If that person's partner dies, leaves them, or IDK gets abducted by aliens and never returns it isn't doesn't mean it is their fault or preference. They could begin dating another person a week later and spend the rest of their life with THAT person.

Two partners + one week of being single = you like to make assumptions and flash judgments with little care to facts.

Yes, within a couple days of dumping their boyfriend they alreayd have a new boyfriend and there was no cheating involved. Not dating, but BOYFRIEND... No cheating. Okay... yeah. sure. if you want to believe that, more power to you.

Why is everyone feeding the troll?

With the hopes of keeping the thread on a better topic, Google thinks it's "and his dog". I always thought it was "and his brother" but apparently I wasn't even very close to colloquial usage.

Maybe just say "every Tom, Dick and Harry".

One (two actually) of my tattoos. It's not from anything, so you wouldn't have seen it before, although there are lots of somewhat similar phoenix designs floating around the web.

See, unlike you, I like to try to see the good in folks. You prefer to ASSUME the possible bad.

What is the saying? The honest trust everyone and the thief can trust no one.........

I think those lifts won't help you; your height is not what gets you passed over. You would be a irksome partner becaue you would always be assuming the worst in everything they did.

Then I'll start wearing a wedding band. We know how that mean s"hands off!" in today's society! You're pissed ofof at me because you know I'm right.

You're now assuming you somehow matter to me. Gotta matter to me to piss me off.

YOU know I'm right about you. You'd badger a poor girl to death about where she was and who she saw and what she did even if she was a virgin when you met. If she spend an hour out of your sight, you'd go mad with assumptions.

OK. You got a) or b) options and you came up with another saying. Never mind. At least I know one more saying. Thanks anyway:D
