My ex and I had been talking recently, and actually was on the verge of making another go at it. We really seemed to be doing better, but I couldn't help but notice it STILL wasn't like it was. I sensed something was wrong. He finally admitted that it was distance that was still bothering him (we live 3 hours away from each other), so I made it easy for him, and I broke it off this time.

I'm so sad. You can't help who you fall in love with, and I know some people just can't do distance..........but this just hurts. I do know it's for the best, but it doesn't help the hurt. We felt so right for each other, despite the break ups, that sometimes it just seems silly that a thing like distance is going to get in the way of that. It wouldn't have been forever, eventually we would have been together, but he couldn't wait for me. Does that mean he wasn't really into the relationship?

I'm still sad, but doing a little better. Starting NC again, but I think it'll be a little easier this time. I don't feel near as depressed as I did when we 1st broke up. I'm healing, but it's very slow right now.

Sorry guys, just had to vent for a bit. Long-distance relationships suck.
