Okay..i've been talking/dating this guy for a month..and a few days ago he asked me to be his girlfriend. Just an FYI, during this month all we did was kiss. He tried to get me to give him oral but i refused to do anything sexual without being in a relationship.

He asked me to be his girl..the day after I texted him and never got a response (Fine, work is busy) i understand that..but never got anything. texted him in the evening ..nothing. The following day, hadnt heard from him all day and then he txted me asking where i was, when i told him i was driving to go have a ladies night out he said "are u sure it's with girls" and then that was it..he was getting ready to go out with the boys. If i hadnt had plans, im sure he wouldve asked to get together. Today..havent heard from him and it's almost 4pm.

What i'm getting at here is...Am i being used? Did i get asked to be his gf ..just so he can eventually try and use it as an excuse to get laid? ...Correct me if i'm wrong but when you first jump into a relationship you wanna see that person as often as you can, you call/text them ...I'm thinking of letting a few days pass and if this continues to just break it off...I hate to break it off because i really like him but i feel like a single girl. It's ridiculous...:(

Advice..thoughts....greatly appreciated please and thank you.

Honestly he sounds a bit shady to me. I think to him... if you were "his girl" that would translate into him meeting up with you for sex and not giving you much else in the way of an actual relationship. It's early yet... If I were you I think I'd just break this off now before it goes any further... no need for all the drama in your life right? There are better guys out there =).

Many men will deliberately cut off contact for extended periods as a sort of test. They want to gauge how easily they can manipulate you, see how much crap you'll put up with. This is a bad sign.

It's a fair summation to make.

Has been my experience

All successful relationships require sound communication. He's piss-poor and you're about to act just like him. Not a good move. Based on this, even if you two do get together, the chances of you guys having a smooth, healthy relationship are relatively slim.

Tip for the day: Communication is vital. Learn to communicate well, and seek only those who do the same.

BTW - love your user name....reminds me of a racehorse I liked a few years back named Fushashi Pegasus.

Thank you for replying, you are all wonderful!! :)

I have been doing the usual, talk like we do sometimes on msn. I have not broke things off because really theres nothing to break, If i was his GF he would be making contact and once again I haven't heard from him all day.

It's safe to say that I can just move on, and when he does make passes over msn asking when were gonna go out, thats when I'll say that we can hang out as friends, nothing more.

Hyundai Genesis is a car. lol...but thats cool.

Of course you can move on easily. He does sound very shady, especially when he came right out and asked you to be his gf when you told him you're not going to have sex unless you're in a relationship.

If you actually want a relationship, you don't want to be with someone who doesn't call you back. It's pretty disrespectful in my opinion.
