Hey everybody. I am hoping those of you who have successfully navigated your divorce and come out happier on the other side can share your stories. Seems alot of people in here are going through various stages of the divorce process, so perhaps it might be helpful to read some comments about how you met somebody after who you are happier with than you ever were before.

FarFetched

Read my posts. I have found love again.

Also understand that most of the people on this board are suffering. This is a self help group and they are doing their best to help each other through the hard times. This is a house of sadness and when they work their way through the pain and begin to move on they begin to avoid this board. Too many bad triggers.

I would guess about once a month an old timer will come back and update that love has found them again and the divorce is the best thing that ever happened to them. But the ghosts of their past hard times are still here and it is best for them to keep moving on in life and avoid the reminders of the pit that they once lived in. So their visits are kept short and they go back to their new lives.

I drop by from time to time. I got A LOT of support from this place. Was 26 then, 29 now. Damn how time flies. Anyway when I read through the posts here all I can think is, "That was me! I know exactly how you're feeling!" Sadly I don't have enough time (and my fingers get tired!) to reply to all of them. What do you do? You take it one day at a time, one minute at a time. Oh yeah, and get the hell up and do something with yourself!

Anyway, I'm a success story! :) Still single though. Maybe someday I'll find someone but if nothing else it's a lot better to be single and alone than married and alone!
