Thornton Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 When I'm angry or upset I sometimes tell people to leave me alone, but I don't mean it. It's a woman thing - I say "leave me alone" and you're supposed to care enough to not do so - you're supposed to stick by me and care enough to figure out what's wrong. However if I seriously tell someone to leave me alone because the relationship is over or whatever, it's incredibly annoying if they keep pestering me (as well as being humiliating for them). If I told someone to leave me alone, I probably wouldn't contact them because I don't want them to get the wrong idea - I want them to continue to leave me alone!

I loved him passionately, but realized it was just not good. please let me know why if you have and how you felt if they contacted you later or did you eventually contact them? Conflicted once again. Just painful all the way around. Gutted. He contacts me.
HeavenOrHell Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Yes, I've texted leave me alone and I want to be left alone in a couple of texts, I didn't really mean it but I was feeling hurt, I also thought NC might be good, although having NC breaks my heart (again). I also said a while ago I need space and he texted next day and said can he bring his washing over to do. He sort of ignored me saying those things and kept in touch and I responded He left me (for those who havent seen all my posts about it!). I have had to be more firm about saying needing space now.
