Have no idea how I should feel. I have been doing ok with all of this but still get so angry that the man I married has made no attempt to reconcile. Just tells me he wants me to be happy and has moved on with his married 2+ something. That does really hurt but I have realized I am much better without him. How do I act tomorrow when I see him? Happy anniversary!! Have fun with the ho! Geez. Well I am off to the caribbean for a couple of days on Friday so hopefully that will put me at peace. Thanks for listening!

Same here recently. It was hard not to include a snarky P.S. Happy Anniversary to the end of a legal-type email.

I felt better the next day though, knowing I managed to keep it to myself.

It was my 10th Anniversary a couple of weeks ago and it was sooo hard! We had always planned to go back to Rome for our 10th - where we spent our honeymoon. I KNEW I wouldn't hear from him but I still hoped!

It was a horrible day, but I got through it - somehow - just like I do every other day, one minute at a time.

I wanted to send him a text saying 'Hope you're ok', just in case he was feeling sad - how crazy is that!!! He's the one who left! Fortunately I'm pretty strong about stuff like that and there was no communication in either direction.

If you have to see him, I would just smile and say 'hi'.

Feel whatever it is you feel, keep as busy as you can and keep reminding yourself that you're better off without him.

Maybe even post your feelings on LS!

Then go enjoy yourself in the Carribbean.

When I hit that first anniversary after she left I invited all my buddies over. We drank a bit and did some good old fashioned ex bashing! Sometimes you need to be reminded of all their bad qualities, friends are good at that.
