Author BookerT Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 I'd avoid 'em too, except for the fact that many of them are clients where I work. You work in a gun shop?
Jersey Shortie Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Very interesting statement because I have heard many women make comments about how a MM flirted with them. Even women who admit they would never be an OW, become extremely flattered with the attention of a MM. Yeah, I think it's a competition and status thing. When I was younger I use to get pleasure out of other men looking at me if then were with another woman. But I was never okay with them flirting with me. Just the looking. It was like "I must be so cool since he is giving me attention over the woman that's with him." As I got older, I grew up and don't take pleasure from it now. I have both been the girl being looked at and the girl with the guy looking and it never feels good to be out with the man you care about who is more ready to give other women attention. Alot of women feed off of that. So it kind of creates this thing where it's him and the woman he is looking at disrespecting the one woman he is suppose to be respecting the most, the woman he is with. And the other woman is getting pleasure from that. So if men rather give other women pleasure then the woman they are with, have at it. But I don't think most men sincerely want to do that. I hope not at least. :/
boldjack Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 First off a OW is not necessarily a Mistress. Traditionally, a mistress is a kept prostitute. Cash given, bills paid, gifts bought, that sort of thing. I really don't have any problem with that. I only have a problem with the ones who won't admit it.
Miad's Princess Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Come on.. men are men and if they are in a sexless M.. they will just melt in front of OW who gives him attention.. Don't be fooled by a MM who tells you he has a sexless marriage/doesn't get it from his wife. Lots of MM who have an A have a great sex life with their W, and are happy (hence the reason most stay married). These Men are just plain selfish!!
2sure Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 The guys that have enough money to pay OW's bills , her tuition, her apartment, buy her a car...stuff like that. At least, its out it the open between them. Unsaid, but still right there. No need for him to make up justifications as to why he is cheating, no need for him to persuade/convince OW that this is ok. Its the guys that cant afford those things that need other means to persuade/convince , that say they are in sexless marriages, they are martyrs, they are the good guys, etc. Its all pretty much the same load of crap, just a matter of what he needs to do or say to get his ego fed and a matter what she needs fulfilled that she cant do on her own.

Most do have sex.. but once every blue moon.. if their sex life was that great.. trust me.. he wouldn't be out there looking and taking chances of getting caught... Some (very rare cases) have a good sex life.. it's just not enough.. (RARE cases)
MissJoness Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I'll second this! And I'll add that sometimes the single men have undesirable traits which is likely the reason they aren't married. I wouldn't want to be a mistress simply because I like being "first." But I totally understand why some women would prefer to be "second" to a FIRST CLASS man rather than "first to a "coach" man. Single men, the attractive ones, don't really try hard enough IMO. They play games, don't want to take you out, but the MM will give you flowers, are more romantic towards you etc. They really chase you
torranceshipman Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Sometimes the married man lies about being single and that's how it starts...
RedDevil66 Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Nah, it's a pretty realistic view. Remove: All the jerks (pretty high %) All the guys with confidence issues. Boring, wimps. (pretty high %) All the guys that cheat (50%) All the guys with crap jobs (pretty high %) You're not left with a large %. I'm a man by the way, and the ugly truth hurts. But it's still the truth. I agree with this. There are very few well adjusted men out there
Lovegod Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I'm just curious about this. I'm not critcising. It's just that it doesn't make any sense to me. Ok, so you meet a man and he hits on you. Then you develope feelings for him. But you find out he's already married. That makes him a cheater, a liar, and a manipulator. Why hang around? I'll tell you how it happened in my case. I met this woman and just conversed with her casually. She already knew I was married. SHE is the one who hit on me. SHE is the one who initiated the first kiss. SHE is the one who convinced herself to cheat on her boyfriend with me. SHE is the one who fell in love with me. I didn't have to do a damn thing.

They're just bored having sex with the same woman and want variety. It's like you can eat the best prime steak everyday, but once in a while you want to squeeze in a desert on the side.

I can't tell the difference!
BG1985 Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 What Lovegod is saying is that it's not always married men who initiate the affair. He's not saying he was forced.
Lovegod Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 What Lovegod is saying is that it's not always married men who initiate the affair. He's not saying he was forced. Exactly. It isn't always the slimy, deceiving situation affairs are made out to be. In the man-mistress situation I was in, neither of us were deceived into believing something else. We were both open and honest about everything.
threebyfate Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 I honestly can't think of one valid reason why anyone would be willing to be the side bit, in an affair scenario. Settling for crumbs, isn't my thing.

RedDevil66 Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 With each other Were you honest with the women you married?
Lovegod Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Were you honest with the women you married? Of course not. Are you really that unintelligent, or are you just setting me up to tell me how much of a slimy piece of steaming crap I am?
Lizzie60 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I don't agree with this. Some men have good sex lives and marriages. They're just bored having sex with the same woman and want variety. It's like you can eat the best prime steak everyday, but once in a while you want to squeeze in a desert on the side. True.. but this is not the majority.. it's the minority.. MOST men complain about 'lack' of sex.. or verrrry boring sex (routine, start with some oral, then position X for about 5 minutes, then position Y to finish) same way each and every time..
BG1985 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 If people were satisfied with their sex lives, there would be no reason to cheat.
RedDevil66 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Of course not. Are you really that unintelligent, or are you just setting me up to tell me how much of a slimy piece of steaming crap I am? exactly, because if I said it, I would be banned
aerogurl87 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 If people were satisfied with their sex lives, there would be no reason to cheat. I agree, well then there is still emotional cheating, but for the most part this is true.
BG1985 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I meant physically cheat. People on here are saying that the guys are lying when they say they are unsatisfied with their sex lives. Emotionally cheating is also unnecessary if both partners are emotionally satisfied by one another. My message is that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
