I dont know. Ive been to some Chinese retaurants that were the best restaurants Ive ever been to, but its a matter of taste of course. Theyre not always cheap either/ you get what you pay for Theres a couple in Chicago that are totally amazing, but they make most of their sauces from fresh ingredients, so their food is unique to their restaurants and individual recipes. Very complex stuff that could compete with the best French restaurants. These kind of restaurants usually dont have ten thousand dishes from every different region on their menu, just a few dishes they do well from a specific region Of course lot of Chinese take out gets frozen ingredients from wholesalers which is why theyre not so good and taste uniformally the same, but theyre much easier on a limited budget. I have to confess I dont know much about Japanese food. I always associate with uncooked fish smothered in ginger and wasabi (which is pretty good)

Do you know that when we asians say we are going to "walk the dog" we actually mean "WOK the dog"? Never dated an Asian girl (I find oriental facial features rather unattractive). And I don't know about "wok'ing" puppies, but there's a Chinese restaurant around the corner from my office that recently got shut down by the authorities when a bunch of cat carcasses were found in the kitchen. Other than that - and the fact that you're trying to take over the world through exponential population growth - I have no beef (or should I 'cat'?) with the asians....

It's been confirmed with my friend's sister who's asian and also my former roommate who was a caucasian male who only dated asian girls. IME, it's just what I've been noticing. I've noticed the same thing. My theory is that nerdy white guys have trouble attracting white chicks, so they end up dating Asians.

I've heard that of Cambodians, Vietnamese, and Laotians, but not Chinese. LOL... I can usually tell what country asian people are from by looking. If that fails the accent is usually a dead giveaway. Most of our states big cities hover around 17% asian.

I think when it comes to the asian fetish, it's been blown out of proportion because of the growing surge of populous that has been leaning towards this trend. If you're attracted to someone, then so be it - I don't think it should be called a fetish. I don't agree with your "nerdy" comment....although, it is important that Asian women go out with a male who is either a doctor(excluding a chiropractor or podiatrist-accdg, to what I hear in the Asian community they are not "real" doctors..LOL), lawyer, successful businessman, Dentist, Scientist, and the like....you know to make, mom happy......I guess they CAN be nerdy....but hey... let's call them "chic geeks" whose style is "geek chic'.. Ok, I am just kidding above....feeding the stereotype...LOL...but I don't think many non-asians have a FETISH for Asian women....maybe just a liking or preference....perhaps people need to review what fetish means. I think it is being loosely used here.
