MizzBlue72 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Sorry - I don't know what that means. Is that the day he tells wife?
carhill Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 My definition of discovery day is when the affair is brought out into the open between the partners. The BS may have had suspicions or gathered evidence over a period of time but D-day is when it all comes to a head.
Spark1111 Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Yes, DDay is the day of discovery, either confessed to byt the WS, or conclusivley discovered by the BS. Generally, it is a day of such high drama and emotion that it is NEVER forgotton by all three people in the affair triangle. It is scary and painful and not always rational, and no one can quite predict what anyone will do or say to whom, including friends, family, bosses, clergymen and each other. Wild times follow, generally.
Author MizzBlue72 Posted November 2, 2009 Author Posted November 2, 2009 Ok - now I understand. Makes more sense now when I read these posts.
Confused4Now Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Was so ugly for me....I remember it very well when I went knocking on my MW's door....11/21/08 it brought everything out that's for sure. Her H was there when he was moved out yet he was spending a lot of time there. So he never came out...just held the door close as I was yelling for him to come out. He never did.....this was the first time when everything came to a head.....I was in a very bad place back then I'm in a so much better place now.....arrrrrrrgh memories....
