Ross PK Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I'm surprised so many people here seem to see it the same way I do. I was sure no one would've done and I would've been called up on what I was saying.
Pyro Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I'm not afraid of marriage. I just haven't met the right person for the job (assuming she does exist out there) Going by the rate of divorces, I am in no rush whatsoever for marriage. I will take the necessary time needed to get to know the other person before marriage is considered.
amirpc Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 I am afraid to get married because I don't want the most interesting thing in my life to be my natural ability to reproduce.
samspade Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 The question presumes I am afraid to get married, but the truth is I just don't want to. There is nothing I stand to gain from a marriage that I cannot have outside of one. It's that simple.

Author aerogurl87 Posted November 2, 2009 Author Posted November 2, 2009 Thanks for the responses guys . I agree with most of you on issues regarding why you're in no rush (or don't want) to get married. I can see the risks associated with it and why you'd be hesitant to marry someone, but then again that's where prenups come in. And yes I plan on getting one before I get married because you never know. So once again, thanks.
