We made plans to meet each other at the mall and they didnt go trough cause we went at different times. Then we were going to meet up again but his car broke down and he couldn't meet me. We went out last saturday and it was so much fun. He invited me to go out last nigh halloween! I was so excited! he was supposed to pick me up at 6. We talked the night before and he was still going. But he didnt show, no call, no text, no nothing. I called him twice and no answer! I texted him as well and nothing! Then when I go to my fb, I saw on my home page that he had changed his pic. SO, he went out last night and didnt bother to call me to cancel! I cant believe he did that! I was so mad! What should I do if he tries to get in contact with me?! He really hurt my feelings!

Don't take his calls.. ever or if you do tell him to eff off.. Then you need to sit down and figure out why you would even consider this type of demeaning behavior okay for you..

Maybe he didn't feel a connection or something and instead of coming forward and being truthful he took the cowards way out by avoiding you. What a jerk. Move on and if he ever does contact you...ignore him the way he did you. You deserve better. Even though he hurt your feelings, it isn't worth putting anymore thoughts, time, or effort into worrying about it! You're cooler than that...right?
gman36 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 I had this done to me today, but have been involved with this chick for over a year. she initiated the date yesterday i confirmed last night and then today i txted her 5 times and called her twice no response left her a frustrated v-mail. I can tell you this, people love to play games with you if you let them. this is bull**** and that will be the last time she ever does that to me. seems like the cowards way out. we txt each other many times a day so i knew when she didn't respond she was having one of her days she calls it. (games) i was hurt by this because it is uncalled for all you have to do is be up front and truthful and she knows this, i don't understand people i feel like i owe the truth to some one on my worst day. this just sucks, because i really care about this chick. i still have not heard from her? maybe shes dead? because that would be the only acceptable reason i could think of to do this to a person.

But anyways, I think that if people were not gonna come through with the date, they should say so!!! Why do they find to be something hard?? How would they feel if they where in our shoes??? I guess people are just stupid and don't realize when they have a good thing in front of them. As for me I am not getting in contact with him, because I dont want someone who is just gonna take me for granted, I know I deserve better!!! It just sucks, because I do have feelings and people should realize that!! I would never stand someone up, if I didnt want to go out with them in the first place, I would not have asked them out!!! It just frustrates me!!!

It just frustrates me!!! It happens. I know plenty of 23-year-olds (and other 20somethings) that stand people up. Sometimes it happens because the individual doesn't realize it is that big of a deal to the person being stood up, sometimes it happens out of a lack of empathy towards the other person's feelings... but whatever the reason may be, you shouldn't let it bother you too much. You can't really control other people's actions, only your own, so instead of getting frustrated, why not be happy you now have one less guy that's not worth your time to worry about.

Ignore him, don’t respond and just keep moving on with your own life. if he doesn’t respect you enough now to a least tell you his plans changed, than he isn’t going to respect you in the future either. you need to let him know you aren’t going to put up with this kind of crap! maybe next time he will remember that when he meets another girl. and yours actions just might save the next girl from being hurt. your other option: If you don’t mind getting blown off and thinks its cool, than by all means continue to make plans with him.
