Hello everybody.

I've known this girl for a few years now from school. I've liked her for an long long time but due to my extreme shyness, I haven't done much beside the basics. That including simply talking to her, as well as texting her occasionally. Lately, I've gotten a lot closer to her with us talking to each other a lot more. I guess due to past experience with being rejected; I've developed my shyness to talking to girls and it's made it harder for me to ask a girl out on a date or tell her that I like her or something of such sort. Is there any advice besides facing up to her and spilling the truth?

Thanks

Take her out on a group date. Eg bowling or Putt Putt (miniature golf).

Talk with everybody and spend special time with her during the date. Do this once or twice before going out with her alone.

Respect her parents when you collect or return her.

I guess I'll continue to do that. Thanks!
