a2foamer Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 In class today, this girl just started crying for what I belived to be no reason, although there was obviously a reason. I had no idea what to do or say. Some suggestions?
TaraMaiden Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 "Don't use your sleeve - here, have a kleenex" Caring, considerate, yet practical too.... Putty in your hands..... Do people really need lessons in neutral compassion now, and in what to say if a classmate is crying....? "Anything I can do to help?" is always a good starter.....

Awesome Username Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I'd ask her what was wrong and if she was okay, but not right in the middle of class or where other people can hear you ask. Ask when it seems more appropriate when she's alone, so she doesn't get embarrassed.
EmmaLou Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Everyone else has said it... Leave it until after class and just simply ask if she is okay. Even if she doesn't tell you, she will appreciate the gesture and always know you as the nice guy who cared!
