mortensorchid Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Last weekend, I went to a Halloween party. Had a good time, as I would any Halloween party because everyone dressed up. I met this guy there. As it turns out, we had met last Halloween at the same host's party. He said he asked about me, but as the host and I barely knew each other, the host didn't know how to get a hold of me. He also thought I was with someone else who I came to the party with. A year later, we meet again. The next day, I was on Facebook when he sent a friend request. I excepted it. Then he sent me an IM, and gave me his cell. He said he had to leave for a while but maybe we could talk later and would I call him? I said I was going to talk that night with a friend in Atlanta most of the night. Which I did. I took his number in my cell, I gave him mine. That was Sunday. Today is Tuesday. Nothing since then. Should I contact him or wait for him to call me? Need some opinions here.
BCCA Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 What was the situation with giving him your number? Did you ask that he call you, or could he have taken it as he should put your number in his phone so he knows who you are when you call? If you agreed to call him, and didnt say directly that he should instead call you, then he might think you will still call if youre interested. You can decide if you want to call him, or if you want to guage his interest on if he calls you.
Author mortensorchid Posted October 28, 2009 Author Posted October 28, 2009 I guess I should clarify: We were chatting a bit on the IM. He said to me "Want to call me on the phone later? I have to run and do some things." Then he gave me the number. I said I too was going to be busy, as I was going to talk to a friend in Atlanta that night. Then I sent another IM, saying that I have his number in my phone, and I gave him mine. I didn't get another message from him after that. So that's what happened. I hope that's all you need for this.
