I have mild Asperger's syndrome, which means that the part of my brain that controls social skills does not function properly. I have made great improvements in the last year, but I still find it very hard to talk to girls, or for that matter, any new people. I am very clumsy in my speech, and sometimes say things that are unwarranted or overkill. I really want to get over this, because I want a girlfriend. Many girls think that I am normal, which I pretty much am, until they try to talk to me. Can anybody offer me some tips on how to reduce this repulsive behavior?

I think that you would get a lot from investing in some sessions with a therapist that specializes in Aspergers. They could really help you gain some insight and be able to pick up on some of the social cues that many women will take for granted that you'll get.
