LoneWolfie Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Hi, i got a question for the women in here. After my girlfriend and i have had sex, either rough or gentle, she sometimes gets even more cuddly then usual and clings to me as if im a life raft in a stormy sea. She often speaks about how much she loves me, sees me as her soulmate and trusts me to look after her and that i dont need to be a big tough guy to make her feel safe. She says she is very glad she found someone to give her enough love to make her happy, dispite thinking her entire life she wouldnt find that person. She mentions how she would break apart if she lost me and will do anything to prevent me getting hurt, trying to make me as happy as possible. She sometimes cries a little from happiness when she rants like this, almost wanting to push her face into my chest cavity to seek shelter in there. These little moods of her are very sweet and adorable. I always feel good hearing her talk like that. Now i know women (*) get these 'cuddle hormones' after they have had sex, but does that make them exaggerate or get caught up in the moment when they speak about their feelings? Or are these dramatic rants a true reflection of what goes on inside the heart and mind of a woman in love? (*) Men aswell, but it happens less i think since men usually mainly get tired. I do become a cuddly softy after sex sometimes.

So, one way to her heart would be to be "wordy" right back.

Or are these dramatic rants a true reflection of what goes on inside the heart and mind of a woman in love? I think it's a matter of her feeling more open and vunerable and sharing what's really in her heart. So really, it's both. I mean, sex IS suppose to contect a couple. Usually, as a woman, after sex, you feel like you can be more vunerable and open with your feelings. At least for me that's true.
ecm Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Interesting. How long have you been together? Do you tell her how you feel, too?
phineas Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 "ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz" usually speaks for itself.
Johnny M Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 this is usually a bunch of bs +1. Don't pay read too much into this kind of pillow talk....and certainly don't take what she tells you at face value.
ecm Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I think talking AFTER sex is MUCH different than what people will say BEFORE sex...in other words, when they're trying to "get in".
BCCA Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 I think talking AFTER sex is MUCH different than what people will say BEFORE sex...in other words, when they're trying to "get in". I agree, but dont know that under either situation the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, is told.
Author LoneWolfie Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 Interesting. How long have you been together? Do you tell her how you feel, too? We have been together for just over a year. Yes i do tell her how i feel about her, slightly less 'dramatic' but im honest about what she means to me.
threebyfate Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Words of any kind, at any time, are as honest as the person who's speaking them. If her actions match her words, on a daily basis, I think you have your answer.

Well, if she treats you in a way that the shows those feelings are real, then I'd believe them. Do you doubt what she says b/c of the way she acts? Or was it more of a hypothetical question. She may doubt how YOU feel about her b/c she's insecure & maybe would like to hear the same type comments after sex? Maybe you should try it!

She acts in a way that matches her words i believe. Such as always letting me know where she is going to be, checking up on me and how i feel, giving me random cuddles and signs of affection, wanting to do alot of activities together, random banter about our future, lots of sex, etc. And as i think i said, i do give her the same type of comments after sex, just slightly less dramatic. When i tell her how much she means to me she smiles and replies with "I know, thank you for X, Y and Z".

Well, then... hypothetically..... if I don't reeeeeaaaally like someone, I DEFINITELY won't give them any bs after sex b/cthe combination of skill (kidding...kinda) and mushy talk might keep them around longer than they need to be there NOT that I just hook up or anything, but why lie? I'm not a good liar, so I don't. So, I'm back to my previous thought. Talk BEFORE sex is more likely to be "bs"...in my opinion.
aerogurl87 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Well for me, I think when I have sex with my BF those endorphins in my body kick into high gear and I become alot more at ease with talking about my feelings to him. So it may not be exaggeration but maybe a less emotionally inhibited version of who your girlfriend is.
Ophelia Rue Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 LOL, wow, if you like that you definitely wouldn't like me as a girlfriend... we both get off, get to our separate bed sides, and pass out at least a foot away from each other. Maybe a little lip peck.
betamanlet Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 If she cries after, then she's absolutely insane. You should run, and thank God you did. HOwever the other stuff is whatever she feels that very moment. Her mind could change 5 minutes later.
