Author xpaperxcutx Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 If she had called him, I doubt he would of answered the phone. I normally don't shy away from a unanswered call. I just leave a message and almost everyone gives me a call back the same day or the next day. I really don't like to make assumptions that he's just avoiding me, but given that he hasn't made a peep about anything since I've unfriended him and haven't talked to him, I'm sure he's well aware we're no longer friends. That's fine with me since a friend less, would mean a more better friend in the future.
Author xpaperxcutx Posted October 26, 2009 Author Posted October 26, 2009 Its not just guys, the new way of the world is to be as selfish as possible, and people are constantly encouraged to do things for themselves without any thought of others. Nobody wants to give without knowing for sure what they'll get for it, and everyone hedges bets. My guess is he felt rejected before, and either used this as a way to get you back, or something else came along he thought was a better use of his time. Honestly, these quasi-platonic situations are very stick, and usually lead to stuff like this happening. That's why I avoid dating my friends. He's an exception because from what I known about him, he was very sincere, but now I'm not so sure. I didn't go forward with going out with him on a whim, it did took me alot of thinking that I just let things go on their own course and we'll see where they go from there. But his (in) action confirmed that he's not someone that's right for me. I'm not all that hurt, just that that when I started this thread I was probably more angry than I currently am. I'm over it.
