Lucky_One Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 I have read recently of several male LSers who really hate the current ballet flat trend in women's shoes. What kind of shoes do guys REALLY like on women for a casual outfit? What about with a short casual skirt going to a football game? With jeans going to buy pumpkins for Halloween? I mean, all girls know that most guys like heels, but there just are times when heels aren't appropriate, and sometimes our feel like something more comfy. What do y'all like to see?
627 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 I can't answer for all the guys but for me, shoes are not something I notice I notice heels, but only because it'd make the woman in question seem taller, but shoes in general...not what I'd be daydreaming about later that day
Johnny M Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 It all depends on the rest of your outfit, your height, you body type, etc. As a general rule, shoes are of far lesser importance to men than they are to women. If an average woman spent as much time at the gym as she does shopping for/thinking about shoes, the end result would be far more appealing.
BentSpine Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Come to think of it, I have never given a compliment to a woman regarding her foot wear. It's not that significant, well to me at least. I think heels don't make the woman sexier, only slightly more formal and business-like. Personally, I like flats on women.

TheLoneSock Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 If I could afford a pair of gator skin shoes, I'd totally wear them. With tube socks and cargo shorts. Kidding aside, I notice a woman's calves, not her shoes. Cankles are a deal breaker. Polished and primped toenails on a girl are a plus, it shows she takes care of herself and probably has well groomed 'other' areas.

In my experience, men like heels. Apart from that, when a woman puts on heels it automatically accentuates her breasts and bottom because of the change in posture. I reckon most men would like that even if they were not consciously thinking it was because of the shoes.
