One of these "Why have you been missing for a week?" conversations. Or perhaps, as well, the reason she wouldn't give him her number because she couldn't use the phone right now, anyway. LOL And I know it's common for men, TLS, but I sure don't "diddle" when I go use the toilet. Unless you meant to say "piddle."

As for dropping the phone in the loo - never have but I tend not to talk on the phone while involved in such things. Kind of rude to the unfortunate listener isn't it...?

Fact is if the phone is insured they can get a replacement pronto. If not don't you think they may have made other arrangements. I know I couldn't be without my phone for a long period of time. Either way I'd be worried if I was you.

I have dropped a cell phone in the toilet before..although I'm a guy.. it was on my hip and I pulled my pants down and it flipped off and bounced off the counter side and fell in the toilet. I did it once.. and that was maybe 12 years ago.

Both times my phone was in my back pocket of my jeans, and when I pulled them down, the phones flipped out and went splash. This has happened to a girl at a hockey game once that I was at, too; I was in line in the bathroom, and she was in a stall cussing and came out in a flurry to dry it out under a hand dryer. It also has happened to at least 2 girls in my tennis club. I was at lunch complaining about my 2nd phone and not learning from the first phone, and two girls busted out laughing and said they have done the same thing.

Didnt hear from her for 2 days. Heard it again yesterday when asking for number of a girl I know. We are supposed to meet for lunch, a time which she suggested today so will soon find out. tinktronik Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 One of my boys "dropped" my phone in the loo. Who knows if it was an accident. I suspect it was the same boy who put my ex's phone in the bottom of the trash can when he felt he was being treated unfairly and didn't mention it until 6 months later. At least I was informed as to where to locate the missing phone. It dried out and worked fine afterwards.
Els Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Girls do it more often, IMO, because they tend to wear tiny jeans/slacks that have tiny pockets. As we all know, the tinier the pocket, the higher the chance of the phone slipping out when you squat. Especially back pockets. I have known no less than 5 girl friends who did that. I'm a bit too poor to afford new phones, so I simply avoid pants with tiny pockets, and I've never dropped mine in the loo before.
