There was a girl at work who i have had a crush on for a while, and we had been talking more and i was beginning to feel there was some attraction returned. i've had feelings (crushes) for other girls before, but never as much as this. I had a few weeks off from work, and i deeply missed seeing her and talking to her, and i realised that i had deep feelings for her, even though i wasn't entirely sure that she felt the same way. I was gearing myself up to tell her exactly how i felt when i returned to work yesterday, only to find out when i returned that she has quit her job and left, i was stunned when i found out, and i dont have any real way of contacting her, without directly going to the boss and trying to get her number, and i dont want to sound like some stalker. ever since then i felt deeply depressed, no interest in doing stuff i would normally do, and i've hardly felt like eating, or eaten anything in the last 24 hours. i just feel empty. i guess i am to blame for not knowing for sure if the feelings were returned, but then you cant blame yourself for your feelings.

I guess all you can do is be glad you didn't pour out your heart and THEN she left. I'm not saying I don't understand. I work on a military base and I had the biggest crush on someone once. SURE ENOUGH...his ship was deployed and I didn't even have his email. I look at it like a SALE in the paper which I missed.
lady_vampiress Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 If u really want to let her know how u feel why dont u try looking her number in the diretory book (if shes listed) and if she is call her all tell her how u feel. and if u cant get her number through there try asking one of ur work friends who were friends with her for her number or email or even ur boss . I mean if u feel this strongly about her, meaning she could of possibly have been ur soulmate, thats why u could be feeling so down and empty without her in ur life now that shes gone, u shouldnt let her go so easily. And no that doesnt make u a stalker just a guy that wants to know how she feels about u by letting her know how u feel, especially since u say u felt some attraction returned. anyways good luck

flyswatter04 Posted December 8, 2003 Posted December 8, 2003 sometimes people do crazy things when they are in love. trust me i know, but if you really care about her then dont worry what others thing about you. if you really care about about her have no fear to go and ask your boss for the number. or despertly search top to bottom for her. try asking some of her friends at work to see if they can tell you anything. good luck.
