I'm very worried about a friend of mine.:( I posted about her once before, she was having some issues in her marriage and was online all the time. Anyway, I ended up confronting her about the online thing and it lead her to MC so it did help her out.:) Now, I'd like to bring up the drinking but I'm not sure what to say? IMO, she brags about how much she drinks and thinks is so cool. This is a grown woman with 1 baby and a small child. Her actions when drinking IMO are very childish. I'm worried she is headed down the wrong road and I don't want to see her get into trouble. Any advice would be helpful.

whatever you do mea... be careful!

i know you know how it is when you are in denial, especially when drinking is the issue. and i also think it is hard when it is a friend and if there are kids involved.

is her husband likely to be supportive and stern?

Hi LB. I ended up having lunch with her and I brought it up when she went to order a glass of wine with lunch.. it was sort of a perfect way to say "Ummm.. it's noon and your ordering a drink?" And I knew this would be effective because each and every other time her and I have had lunch she always has soda or tea. Anway, she laughed and said "You know your right. It's a bit early for the wine". then she ordered a soda.:D She went on to tell me that she feels she's been drinking to much. I told her I understand and if she want's to talk more about it I am there for her to listen. So, I managed it.:) Glad I brought it up and let her know she can count on me. Oh.. and yes, her h is very supportive. They are doing well in MC.
