There's really no hurry, that whole big belly thing is some months away. Are you SURE about your feelings for each other? That it's not euphoria about the baby? I am sure that BOTH of you are thrilled and will make wonderful parents, but your feelings about one another, shouldn't be compromised by convention. Two loving committed single parents are far better than a divided home. Just sayin;)

I've been a little jittery as of late, with getting married a second time, which had nothing to do with him or our relationship. Now those fears have completely disappeared and in retrospect, were so insignificant. We're a family. Thanks, alpha.

So as most parents the little one will be treated as a saint. Plse call him/her Baby Shotgun. Okay. But we need something more exciting. The end result of your trial by fire needs a name that indicates what kind of happiness he/she will bring. And if I can give any advice that will be helpful or at least get you thinking, I will try. I have been impressed with what you already know as a non-parent. However, you will find as I do every day, I learn how much I need to learn. Can we say teenagers?

I really can't give any advice on parenting as I'm in the thick of it myself but I can tell you to buy lots and lots more diapers than you think you need. The one thing I think I have learned in the last couple of months is to not panic when things go crazy..cuz they will go crazy.. Like when he takes a header into the coffee table and his forehead swells the size if a golfball in 2 mins it didn't do me or my wife any good more me to be freaking out like I did.. If I had just taken 2 mins to breath everyone would have been better off..
