Why do his moods keep changing? Whe be a heartless Jerk??

Ok so I havent updated in alwhile but long story short> I'm feeling better most of the time. Went to the Drs I have been put on meds that help. Last week he took the kids we talked/text mess. for three days getting along for what I thought was very good maybe to good laughing joking (but again maybe I read too far into it).. I picked up the Kids on Sunday and didnt talk to him since, until lastnight. On tues he gets the kids and I called about half an hour before he was to pick them up to let him know something was wrong with his daughter and I was taking her to the ER. Well he picked up our son and told me he had something to do and would meet me later. Thank God nothing serious and I did not need him to meet me, I left and went to Drs. Needless to say I asked him if he could resch, his thing so he could be there and he told me it was the best he could do was to meet me there later. Well after my son came home I find out there was no important job it was a friend and they then had dinner....WTF????? I knew he was an ass but to turn your back on your daughter when it was your night to see her anyway nevermind shes on her way to the ER.......................

 

Today he didnt even text to see if she was ok until 3 even then it was two words............

 

To think the last few days have been really hard and Ive been thinking of texting/emailing to tell him how much I miss him!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY and why call me joking on Friday about the kids then not care at all?????????????

 

 

REALLY bad few days.... Thank god daughter is fine and I finally will start o fell better (health wise, ear and sinus infection) how much more can one take??????????// And he is loving life rightnow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No worries except his pride and joy material things/work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't beat yourself up, it goes back and forth...amicable one minute and selfish the next. When my first marriage broke up, our daughter was only 3 years old. I used to call my ex and ask him if he wanted to pick her up on his way thru town to see his mother and he never would. The route would've taken him 1 mile out of his way to pick her up....he waited until 7 years later to come back in her life and wreaked havoc for almost 2 years. For the rest of that time, 12 to 22, he lived an hour away and never calls her, writes, sends gifts...etc....nada.

 

It can be much worse....when he and I did talk those times on the phone, he acted like I was just an old friend and we were comparing notes on our kids, his new one and the one he forgot he had with me....sad.
