I know this is a bad bad match, but why?

google the reason til you realise it's mumbo jumbo, or maybe not ;)

Find a scorpio. He's better for you.

It's a bad matchup because you're pre-judging others based on astrology which is superstitious horse****.

I'm sure that out of the entire world population there's a ton of "aquarius men and cancer women" couples who are very happy together.

Horoscopes are complete garbage, and using signs as some sort of compass for relationship compatibility is absurd. I'm a Gemini, but I act like a Leo. My ex is also a Gemini, but acts like a Scorpio- it means nothing.

I have a friend who after her breakup spent almost 500 dollars over the course of 2 weeks on a few different psychics, she was paying them all to tell her what she wanted to hear. I know you're not talking about psychic readings in any way, but it falls right in line with what you are talking about.

Interpreting your life through stars in the sky in any way is no way to live. :confused:

Aquarius = water.

Cancer = crab.

I would have thought the two were highly compatible....

What a pile of baloney.

You have the perfect ingredients for a seafood cocktail and you think it's a bad match?

I'll tell you a bad match.

Hydrochloric acid and bubble bath.

That's a bad match!

I just want to say, I know five people who share my birthday and we are all completely different from each other. Its like followign the chinese horoscope, wouldn't everyone at school have been exactly like me? If it is a bad match then your the one who jinxed by following the superstition!!

Anyway, since I myself am fascinated by astrology:p ( don't however follow it!) aquarius men love freedom and are really social etc. Cancerians are homely and moody. This is of course in general, for all I know your guy is very homely and your the party animal. I know a few aquarians, a few morons and a few gems....just forget about following astrology so blindly. It should be fun, not a rule of life!

I'm Aquarius woman, was dating Cancer man. And I am a homebody (I wouldn't call myself "homely" :eek: ) in spite of being a supposed sign-appointed party animal.

That aside - we seemed perfectly fine together. Although I thought I read something once about how Cancer can be overly emotional and Aquarius can be detached. You can find this **** to read all over the place - just google.

Of course...the exact moment each of your bodies emerged from your mothers' birth canals must make you a terrible match! I'm sure none of the other events in your lives since then have shaped your respective personalities or values. Especially when you consider the "position" of the stars at that moment - from our anthropocentric vantage point on Earth, anyway. Makes sense that a burning ball of gas billions of miles away would have greater effect on our lives than our parents, our economic status, or or personal health. Who wouldn't believe that? I mean, besides anyone who lived after the year 1500?

Once you understand each other's weak points and how to deal with them, you can make it work. I'm dating a Gemini which is said to be a horrible sign for a Scorpio (and I agree), but it's working perfectly well.

BS....it's the individuals that count, not silly superstition...

I'm a Scorpio and I dated an Aquarius for six months. NEVER AGAIN!

I'm very much fascinated with astrology as well....but I would not base everything on it. People are individuals, therefore we all act differently and are compatible with different people regardless of astrological sign.

Hydrochloric "Acid" mixed with Bubble Bath "alkaline" = neutral substance which smells like kiwi or other cheap fragrance.

Although many take astrology a little too far... The commonality of personality traits due to time of birth is documented occurrence as per historical records.

A persons sign designates what time in the season they were born in, and what types of stresses "real or genetically predisposed" they would be exposed to during the earliest parts of their lives. This is a key aspect in how you will develop as a person.

I am a Scorpio, I act like one. I am all the good and bad parts of the description. But I use that to make conscious decisions on how I interact with others. Not as an excuse for my less than enjoyable traits.

It is a wise person who rules the stars and a fool who's ruled by them.

Perhaps if you believe that sort of thing. People allow these sort of astrology things to rule their lives, I don't think it's nonsense as I am a Cancer, and I actually have many of the traits. Cancer is a water sign and Aquarious is an Air sign, astrologists recommend (bogus in my view) that you date within your sign groupings i.e. cancer best with scorpio, another cancer, or Pisces. Aquarious better with another Aquarious, Libra or Gemini.

However, it's the individuals that make the person, not the birth month.

I kind of agree with this.

However, the "signs" in astrology are archetypes. No one person is purely any one thing.

Anyone really into astrology knows that it's not just the sun sign (i.e. aquarius, cancer, etc.) that defines a person astrologically. There were other planets in the sky at the time you were born and their positions matter just as much.

Astrology has proven pretty accurate in my experience. I don't run my life according to it but I find it interesting.

I'm an Aries. A fire sign. I've had a lot of good experiences with other fire signs and air signs. Most intense/emotional have been with water signs. Not much experience with earth signs.

Aquarius are great for me for friends. I think they would be too aloof though for a water sign. Your friend could have other aspects/planets that compensate for this though. And you certainly shouldn't let astrology determine your friends/lovers. Go with your heart.

Astrology has nothing to do with anything. Love who you want to love.
