Hey LS,

It's been about a month since I've seen my ex or talked to her. I am the one who broke up with her at the end of June because I wasn't happy, or maybe I just wasn't willing to work things out. I had a tendency to avoid initial confrontation about problems, but I would address them when I was ready to(usually the next day or a few hours later).

I'm 20, she's 20, and she's the only girl I've felt so close to, felt so much love for for nearly 2 years. A lot happened those 2 years which led to my decision to end our relationship......you can read my past posts for more info...

But for the past two weeks or so she's been on my mind constantly. I am always wondering how she is doing, what she is up to, if she is thinking about me..etc..I don't know if I should go by her apartment and pay her a visit, or just keep my distance and hope that I'll wake up one day and think about something else other than her first thing in the morning.

Btw...I haven't had the urge to date, to hook up, or any of that. I feel like it's just me, without her...I know it seems stupid, you don't need to tell me. I broke up with her, and now I miss her...only natural right? Hope someone can help me out here..

hey, i dont think you should pay her a visit, not yet and not until she gives some sort of signal that she is ready to be able to cope seeing you. You must remember that you are not the only one feeling the weirdness of intial singledom. I could imagine that she is trying to come to terms with the relationship ending too, which she probably does not need to be reminded of what she could of had so soon. Try and put yourself in her shoes.

I guess you also need to move on too...

If you can honestly say that you feel the same and are willing to actually work on things, then go for it. Even though any contact isn't fair to her since you ended things.
