I wanted to know what some of you guys thought of this book, The Game? I just finished it and it was an interesting read to say the least. Some of the guys were complete weirdos, but they seemed to have a lot of success once they improved themselves.

The Game is a very interesting read. Neil Strauss is a good writer as well.

Men that learn PUA techniques will improve their seduction and chances of getting a woman in bed. However........they're just going to screw themselves on ever finding true love.

Even the book points that out. I think most guys will miss that though.

This is the book i've mentioned in the other thread.

I would like to agree and disagree. Everything you said is true. But i think that if used correctly it could really help men to find love. I know certain men will only use those skills to become the biggest players in the world, quit literally, but there's other men out there who just want to be able to meet women. I think the techniques are great for making possibilities open up for men and where they normally wouldn't be.

After you get a woman's attention and get her talking to you you can relax and be yourself more, give her the chance to know the real person you are. You don't have to keep the act up and get her in bed. Yeah im sure that be fun to do, but like it describes in the book it can completely take over.

This I agree with to break the ice and the initial resistance. But humans generally gravitate to wanting even more.

Wait, if I can attract a 6, what about a 7 or a 9?

The story in the book that sticks out is the Australian guy that attracted a very attractive wife, but then he couldn't keep the act up and she was ruining his life.

If confidence is a guy's real barrier to meeting women then PUA stuff helps, and then the guy should burn the books.

I haven't read that one, but has anyone here ever tried doing the 30-day challenge?

I wasn't sure about the book. It somehow had exaggerated claims. Also how are we to know for sure if these guys in fact bedded 100's of women? Neil Strauss didn't even properly log his 'evidence' and instead decided to re-tell it only.
