My husband and I have been married since 2005. Currently I pay for everything that we jointly share, rent, bills, food and entertainment. I earn 3 times what he earns and he doesn't earn more than $17,000 a year. I would like to create a financial arrangement that has us both share to the cost of our lives but don't know what would work best. I want ideas before approaching him on this topic.

what? you're making very little sense with this post. Who cares if you pay all the bills, you're married. That just means that his income goes into your joint savings account. You do have one of those right?

Firstly: Why does he only earn $17,000 a year?

Does he plan to earn more?
