Soul Bear Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 So your feeling heartbroken and sad.... what happens to you when you smile? How do you feel? Well guess what??? Things are only going to get better for you I promise you these feelings you're having do fade away and get better. Not only that, but it will make you. Just remember to smile and think positive and think of yourself highly. You are worth a lot more than to have your heart broken. If someone else cared about you, as much as you cared about them, they would never break your heart in the first place. What's more, is that there is someone even better out there for you... Have you noticed every relationship you have (on the most part) is better than the previous one? It doesn't just stop here. The same counts for the next one you meet. So just keep working on yourself, go through the motions and bathe in all the emotions and feelings you are going through. Before you know it, you will be out the other side laughing and smiling again, and you will be glad you went through what you did. :D:D:D:D:D:D Hope you all have a great day....Infact this could be the best day you have had in ages....if you allow it to be...
mickleb Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Guess what? You're hot. Pull yourself together mickleb! I'm beginning to see the light, SB. I think you could be onto something here.. So nice to have you guide us through. x

angelface78 Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Soul Bear...youre so sweet. Thank you so much for the positive thoughts. Whoever lost you was surely a fool.
Taucher Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Thank you for this. Your positive attitude has really helped me today. I am hungover and am always a bit melancholy when I am in this state. (I have even been known to cry watching 'Match of the Day'!) I know all that you said to be true, I just dont feel it yet. But it's good to be reminded of it. T

Thankyou for all your kind words, but really you should be patting yourselves on the back....why? Because you're all so frickin awesome and you deserve to be happy Share a smile everyday and see how you feel.
Exit Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 It certainly is true that every relationship I've had has been better than the previous one by leaps and bounds, yet it's hard to believe in that when going through a current heartbreak. But I have to keep reminding myself, that pattern certainly does seem true. Can't wait to see what the next one is like, and hopefully I'll know soon because I'm playing the field pretty well right now.
deadboy666 Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 tomorrow it's been 4 weeks and i think the worst has come and gone. Today i was feeling pretty down because she went to the beach for a week with my replacement, but i got better after venting to my father. i am nowhere near ok yet, and do not want to settle down anytime soon. but for now, **** it. I'm focusing on myself and just having a good time. im losing weight at a very good rate (20 since the breakup, 50 more to go!). AND, im talking to girls more and more, and not just about having a broken heart. said **** it and joined a dating website, which i have a date with someone this week with(although not sure what to expect, have never done anything like that ha) i guess my point is, thanks for your words of encouragement. i read them before i went into work and it motivated me not to let it get to me entirely and consume me
Author Soul Bear Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 Bump. Seems a few people could do with reading this today
Nuala83 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 Well look at you all cheerfull and happy SB! You and I probably came onto this forum at around the same time. Do you remember what we were like then? Hahahahaa it makes me cringe when I think back to how angry and hurt I was. I was a complete mess! some might even say a basketcase He's right though. The feelings of hurt, anger, bitterness and betrayal do fade (albeit slowly) and when they do, the old you starts to reappear
Author Soul Bear Posted October 23, 2009 Author Posted October 23, 2009 I know!!! NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF POSITIVITY! Life is sweeeeeet! Looking back on our old posts are so funny...what a mess!!! hahahaha
