I'm in my mid/late 30s but I'm often told I look about 24 or 25. Sometimes even younger. I normally take this as a compliment but suddenly had a thought. What if it put women off because they were afraid of being seen by others as an 'older' woman dating a 'toyboy'?

Would you date a guy who was actually your own age but looked ten years younger?

Of course. Age is but a number.

A man who looks ten years younger could quite easily date a girl who is ten years younger. Don't knock the advantage that nature has given you!

Its an individual preference, some women like mature looking men, some women like babyfaces, some women like nerds. A Younger looking man is something that isnt so general.

That is the one of the worst myths perpetuated on society.

Oh ok it's not that bad but it's also not true. Age isn't just a number it's a whole host of life experience that has brought you to that point in your life.

Not being able to share those life experiences in some relationships it isn't as much of a problem as in others.

I look 10 years younger than I am at least. I won't be silly and say I don't know it. I can compare myself to people my age. And whenever I tell anyone my age they are genuinely surprised. And they never associate me with my age because they never get to a point where they actually get over it.

Ok enough!

For the first time in my life I have felt myself attracted to men who are younger than me. Men my age look so old. I'm just not attracted to them. Admittedly I'm at the age where a man who is 10 years younger than me is grown adult man with life experience and I think that makes a difference. 30 and 40 are not the same as 18 and 28.
