Ruthieo10 Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 Okay, Here's the deal, this is the first time I have ever had a boyfriend on the Holidays. He lives about 10 hours away and I want to get Him something meaningful for Christmas and I have no Idea what that would be. I don't want to just get him one thing I would like to get him a couple of things. but I would like them all to be special in some way. I just need a couple of ideas. THANX
lostforwords Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 What does he like? does he drive? special movies? Hobbies? is he clothes conscience? need more info!!
wiseOLDman Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 a his and her day at a Day Spa is always a good bet.
mintjulep Posted December 4, 2003 Posted December 4, 2003 A day full of activities would be nice, especially since he lives 10 hours away. If he's going to visit, then plan out a "special day" between the two of you, so that all he has to do is sit back and enjoy the activities you've planned. Go see Christmas lights, look at Christmas decorations, (my boyfriend and I like going window shopping on 5th Ave during the Holidays. It's crowded, but it's so much fun), and have a special dinner or something. I think spending time is more important and special than spending money, but the Day Spa is also a great idea! I think that as long as thought went into the gift, you can't go wrong
DJ-TK Posted December 5, 2003 Posted December 5, 2003 Yeah, spending time is probably the best gift.....
Lauren83 Posted December 5, 2003 Posted December 5, 2003 if he's a creative person, you could make him a gift that is somehow related to his interests. or you could bake him cookies that spell out "i love you" and decorate them all differently. (if you're not quite to the point of saying "i love you", you could just use Christmas or heart cookie cutters) you could even put the cookies in a special tin and decorate the lid by making a collage of things he likes.
