HAGITLOVE Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Hey you all I did it, I have created my first video pf my paintings for youtube, I'm so proud of myself that I did it. it's a great feeling of fulfillment I hope you enjoy it thank you
Ross PK Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Anyway. I don't think it matters about the sophistication of the drawings, I think character is more important. I've seen drawings which look amaturish which I've really liked, much better than some expert drawing which looks as though it could almost be a photograph, I think those are boring, they have no character or 'spark' at all. I do art myself.

donnamaybe Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Hagitlove.. how old are you? I am also an artist.. although I don't have much time anymore.. but your paintings are extremely amateur,, they look like they've been painted by a 10 year old.. sorry but you post on a public forum.. you will have all kinds of response.. and another thing.. maybe you should have someone proofread your text before you post them... many mistakes.. The part I bolded was probably how some would have described Picasso's paintings. And yes, that was unnecessarily harsh. There were a couple typos, like greatful (instead of grateful) and creat (instead of create) and a grammatical error, but the message comes across quite nicely. Hagit, I particularly enjoyed the first painting and the two with the backwash of solid color with the bright, colorful overlays. They do create a sort of happy feeling.
whichwayisup Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 I think they're all nice. You seem very passionate and happy - Which is a wonderful quality to have! Keep doing what you're doing, and thanks for sharing your art work.
jw90063 Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Thank you, I create my art to bring happiness and love. Love while Liz's response may have been harsh, here's another one. ok, your paintings are fine, but what is not fine is going around throwing it in people's faces how you "love your life", " i live life to the full" blah blah. that is so fake and nauseating! ok, seriously a truly genuine person who loves their life and all, does not have to go around telling people that . it is very tacky and not sure what you get out of it. i think you are selfish and trying to make yourself feel better by saying those things to people. get over yourself
donnamaybe Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Geez, bitter and angry much? That was just mean. I'm sure I'd much rather be around the OP with her outlook on life than someone who hates hearing another person talk about their happiness with their life.

I'm sure I'd much rather be around the OP with her outlook on life than someone who hates hearing another person talk about their happiness with their life. lol you're joking right? i'm just telling it like it is. "i love myself and i love my life". anyone should know something is wrong with someone who goes around advertising that. would you want to be around someone who constantly talks about it or just lives life and seems happy? heres another one of her nauseating "unnecessary threads" http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t205602/ but i mean i did say her paintings were fine, i could have said they looked like a child and other mean stuff. give me a break
donnamaybe Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 So she tells LS'rs she's happy and asks for others to give their experiences of the same and you label it nauseating? I don't think she's the one with the problem. Have a nice day.
Odetta Dean Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 That was really nice Hagit thanks for sharing You seem like a great person to be around! Don't listen to that bitter poster misery loves company right?
underpants Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Look how controversial you have already become. You involk envy and even mild rage in some. Bonus, you still have both ears. I like the second one the best and the cone of color one is pretty cool too. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

She's just a happy person and loves life, and it seems you and a few other people can't bear that. What's wrong, you guys have crappy lives and are just bitter and jealous? If anything is tacky it's your post.
alphamale Posted October 15, 2009 Posted October 15, 2009 Thank you, I create my art to bring happiness and love. Love *starts weeping uncontrolably*

TOO MANY threads on here and so many people are unhappy. I don't know what is wrong with sharing good stuff on this forum, if anything, I'd like to see more of it! How is it selfish to post about the good stuff in one's life? Geez.
