And that... in a nutshell, is my life lesson for today. Here's the story in the fast-forwarded version:

Had a huge crush on a guy for 2 months. Told the guy I liked him, and he says (many times) that he's not good for me and doesn't see us in a relationship. I still keep liking him anyway. Pot smoker, drinker, partier, drug-user type and yet I still keep liking him. Finally one day we sleep together. I still have feelings for him, he still doesn't. And I've now officially been told point-blank that he feels our personalities clash too much (which is probably right.... I don't party, smoke, drink, or do probably half the things he does) and he only wants a friendship with me.

This is the first time I've ever done anything with a guy who I wasn't in a relationship with... so the whole thing is pretty weird for me. I had feelings for him while it all went down... so it's majorly sucked for me. I freaked out emotionally at first but I guess I'll be ok.... Tomorrow I'm gonna dress in my confident "I dont care what you think about me" look and I'll probably survive in the end....

I'm just puzzled Kim. Why would you even waste time with someone who is a pot smoking druggie to begin with especially when you don't engage in those activities? Even if he liked you, that could become a major problem in the relationship at some point. Not to judge anyone with addiction problems, but some things are just red flags, and merit the move on indicator from the start despite how hot or interesting the person may seem.

She might be down about the HSV and it's changed her parameters. OP?

Topically, yeah, when someone speaks negative words, believe them.
