ranman Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 hi everyone, my gf of nearly 2 years dumped me last nite. She told me that she had been in love with me but wasn't feeling the same anymore. I loved her and i still have strong feelings for her but she said that she sees me as a best friend and wants to remain friends. I know at first it will be super hard but it's hard for me to see her as just a friend. I told her how i felt when she broke up with me. The reason she gave for breaking up was because she wants to be single and not in a relationship. She said that she doesnt want to wake up one day and wonder where her life went. The hardest part is that we work together but I have a few days til that happens, so i'm tryin to cope with this alone. Should I give her space and not text her til she does?

Don't remain friends because this will only hurt you, you have feelings for her its going to be really hard if you stay in contact. You need to respect her idea of wanting to be single, if thats what she wants let her do so. It takes two people to work out and solve problems in a relationship one person can not carry all the weight. In this case, you didnt do anything wrong, she wants to be free so give her wings when she wants to fly. There is nothing else you can do, Go NC with this person and try to move on. She is not worth another second of your time. Good Luck.
