puppydog Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Yeah. I don't know how people can move on so quickly. Singleness has been pretty awesome actually. My confidence level has been super high these days without him around.
Author lostmirthfulness Posted December 6, 2009 Author Posted December 6, 2009 Plenty of dating websites out there and this one that includes something for the darker side of dating or failed relationships, but there needs to be a web-utility that brings recently broken up people together for coffee or something. lol. Sometimes sharing stories and having that somebody to listen to and speak to helps things. We do have our friends, but chances are they can't really relate to the same degree.
Author lostmirthfulness Posted December 22, 2009 Author Posted December 22, 2009 Wow - just a quick update. The anger issues are gone - the missing her is still around from time to time, but not as strong as before. I have filled my life with work, (going back to college for another degree) exercise and having fun. My situation differs from that of other people, but I am actually doing alright with everything. At times I get sad - and I also still get a little upset, but I am no longer mad at her. I wouldn't take her back by any means and I don't really care what she is upto now days. She has her bloke for that. I still miss her family and our dog, but we have to cut our losses somewhere. I've very recently met a really nice and sweet lady - we've talked for hours about previous relationships and she has offered me a listening post and perspectives that my mind wasn't wrapping around before. I will have to come back and write more, but that is enough for now.
