It's my first time jobhunting. My last two jobs were my uncle and a friend's friend asking "Wanna make a little money working for me" so I'm new to this resume and reference letter deal.

Got two questions:

1.With regards to the reference letter do I send it with the resume or do I go down the "reference available on request" route? Is there any difference?

2. I'm applying for two different part-time jobs. Do I put down my availability as if I'm gonna them both? (Eg. I list Monday, Wednesday for job 1 and Tuesday, Thursday for job 2)

Thanks.

Pedigree, just a heads up for next time... you'll get more responses if you post this in the Business & Prof. section.

1. I normally don't send a reference letter unless they specifically asked for it. And most ask for it, only if they're thinking about hiring you anyway.

2. I wouldn't put it that way, since you can't assume you're gonna get both.

Good luck.
