memorex21 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I could not be anymore confused....In December 08 my ex gf broke up with me very unexpectly, on the phone, then refused to really ever let me talk about it. She would im me from time to time to say hi, then one day you could tell she was looking for a reason to lose feelings for me saying everything I did wrong, and how terrible I was. I accepted it, was sick of being called names and was done. We never spoke since that, which was about 6 months ago. Since then I heard she was seeing another guy within weeks of us not contacting each other. Anyway not to long ago she reaches out to me saying NOW she wants us to talk etc etc. I'm confused, what exactly is she looking for? Friends, a safety net, something more? Why now?

quarterlifecrisis Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Mostly agree with previous poster. There's a slight chance she may regret her decision and want to get back, but doesn't have a path. She probably doesn't want to get rejected outright so is feeling it out. But again, this is probably a lower probability event. Most likely, she's just looking for some attention and to see if you still care.
