Slu27 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I feel like after i meet with a girl for the first time at a party, and we have had a good time, 3-4 days later when I see her and we are both sober, she just never says hello. Yes, she will give me a glance for a couple seconds, but no smiles or anything. What is your take on this? I dont have trouble talking to girls one on one, but when she is with a group of her friend at the cafeteria for instance, it makes me really nervous.
carhill Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Say hello first. It's not a contest. If she doesn't answer, that's good information....

Women have an edge at the beginning when men are trying to get to know them. She doesn't have to say hi. If I was a woman I wouldn't say hi first either with new men. Why would I? If they want to get to know me, they should say hi to me. Think from the other person's shoes always in analysis social interactions.

I will say hello next time, but the girl i talked with at the party did comment on my facbook status for the first time, so maybe that is a sign. I just never really get a chance to see her during the day, only parties on the weekends, and if i text her i will feel like a creeper. i have no idea why.
caramel c Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I agree, say hello to her first, you the man!
ashleigh422 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Seriously.. these guys really know women.. exp hkizzle.. you will never know unless you try. What is the worst that can happen? If she is "glancing at you" and not just scanning the room, your chances are higher... SHE doesn't have to say hi.. that is the truth.. women want a man to initiate that convo and want to feel wanted..

I'm the friggin forum jerk. Like to incite people and highly narcisstical. Frankly, I like to give useful advice to those that deserve it, and like to pick fights with those that want to pick fights.
EcstasyX6 Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I never say hi first. Especially if I like a guy because it seems a little desperate. It's best to play slightly disinterested. In my experience, men like the ones who they have to work at catching better.
