Nickix Posted October 6, 2009 Posted October 6, 2009 Hello guys, I'm just another guy trying to get a girl, and I'm very timid in nature..I'm just very very shy. I'm 18 this year, I studied in a guys school previously, and hence I'm not really good with girls, to be honest about years ago I did not even dare to look them into the eyes. I'm in college this year though. About this girl.. she is two years older than me (just for your info), and she's very outspoken and friendly. I got closer with her since we had a "group revision" together. I did tell her about family background (some sad part), and she did tell her story too (nonetheless, it's still far from success). She is in fact very caring to me, at times I acted "emo" (or moody) to get her attention, and she will phone will later that night and asked me about it. I don't think she did this to any other of my classmates (or at least she won't phone them I guess!). However, she doesn't really pick me and chat with me in class, that's the weird part. Despite many jokes created out of us (e.g. the class jokes that we are couple or hanging out), she did not get affected by it though and still treats me the same. I thought we were very close compared to other classmates in the college. I thought I've won. But then, I noticed that she is treating the classmates the same as she treats me. Or maybe even more closer with them. Till here, I have two assumptions, first one is I'm just a dumb ass after all trying to think that she likes me, and another one is she may be waiting for me to take action. I'm very shy to take any action.. and I've been making a fool out of myself (trying to act cool or trying to get attention) many times, i don't want to lose the slightest chance available to me.. I really need some good advice here, really appreciated it.
amagordos Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I think if you have feelings for her, show her your interest. Flirt with her, compliment her and see how she reacts. If she doesnt seem overly flattered then she might just like you as a friend. If she does, being friends is just ok. Maybe later you can become something more
