simon0707 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 I'm 21. Yesterday I went to my friends house party, and there was this really cute girl there. It was the second time I'd met her. She remembered my name and even my family name and everything. We were both pretty tipsy so I asked for her phone number. Me and my friend play on a hockey team so I was like "you should come watch us sometime!" and shes like "its too far i dont have a car!" and i was just like "gime your number maybe you can come with me sometime!". We were talking a lot and she even commented on how goodlooking I was (probably the alcohol talking though :S) Anyway, when she was leaving, I told her to take my number down too so she can text me when she's available to come. She got up to go get her cellphone and then next thing I know, she went into the bedroom and then came back 2 minutes later and said bye cause she was leaving. This left me confused. Do you think she likes me? Why did she not take my number down? Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you!
WTRanger Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Was she there with friends and did she leave with those friends? Her friends could have thrown the classic c*ck block on you. Next time, get her number. Don't give your number to her and tell her to call you. You're the guy, unfortunately it is up to us to do all of the work. She could just be really flirty with you as well, and she may not trust you enough to give you her number. But that doesn't mean she's not necessarily into you. Or, she could be trying to tell you to get lost. My advice is to try this one more time, if you see her again. If you still don't get her number or get a date set for a future meet-up, then she's just being a party flirt and that's it. No need to read more into this.

And I did get her number using the transportation to the hockey game as an excuse. What left me confused though was how she got up to get her cellphone after I told her to take my number down and then disappeared to the bedroom, and 2 minutes later she said bye and left. Is she basically just leaving the ball in my court?

New Again Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Well no one here knows. And as someone else said - there was alcohol involved. So you can't reasonably expect certain things, regardless of if she liked you or not. I personally think the fact that there was alcohol involved means the whole night is irrelevant. Just call her. THen you'll figure out if she's playing games or whatever. And since you have her number, who cares if she took yours down or not? She probably expected you to call (albeit in her buzzed or drunken state, so who knows if she really wants you to or not).
