WHEN does a guy usually start deciding if you're "the one"? I'm going by general guidelines (I'm in my forties yes we have love dilemmas too). I've read and heard usually by say 4 months or so he kinda knows. Do you feel it's different if a couple is in late 20's or 30's and never married compared to those of us who have been there and back. More cautious I mean. What about a man who is TREATING the woman like his wife? Honey and baby, calls almost right after work, no pressure sex, we and us, lots of QUALITY time shared including mention of meeting family as in "when you meet (the person)" rather than if, interaction with kids. Him telling you (for what it's worth) that he didn't do this or that because he told himself YOU wouldn't like that. Any insight?

I think it depends on the guy and what kind of relationship (or marriage) ending he had. Some guys move on quickly to build a new nest....and some don't. I don't know if there is any set 'time frame' because it would be different for each person.

Some people 'grow' into love. Other's know immediately.

Maybe a few men on here would have a more definitive answer. I don't know about the 4 months thing....I've never heard that.
