breaker Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 hey guy, ive been posting alot here recently due to the fact my relationship isnt top notch atm lol ughh. im sure theres a few threads here on the same topic but i looked through maybe 4 pages and couldnt find one so i decided to post one myself. today i found out from her for the first time that she had a thing for one of her friends before her and i met. from my interpretation it sounds as if he was a rebound?? she dated a guy for 11 months, then broke up with him and talked to this guy for about a month, then we met. she said her reasoning for calling it off with him is bc her and i met. shes apparantly pretty good friends with this guy still and im just a little unsettled. i told her i didnt like it too much but i dont think too much is going to happen about it bc shes been friends with him alot longer then shes known me. i asked my guy friends on what theyd do and my close female friend and they all kinda gave me the same advice. "who cares, you already won her over" i just wanted to get ur guys imput, thanks alot

When I was rebounding from my year long relationship with my ex gf I had sex with a couple different girls, my very good female friend included. But that's all it was. I know it sounds dumb but...love and passion really do trump everything man. As a dude, and maybe a couple months back, I would've said "Bull**** duke". But its true. Lol I remember one of those girls, I couldn't even get it up. And she was just floored really. It must've hurt her ego a little bit because she was lovely. But I was IN love, with my ex, at the time. If your GF is in love with you, and when you hold/look at/have sex with her and the passion is there, then you know you've got her. Her good friend could be ****ing Brad Pitt and she wouldn't be going anywhere.
