There's no physical reason for your confidence to be low. Just go to the party and enjoy yourself. Talk to everyone, guy or girl. Don't think as "trying to score", think of it as getting to know people. And have fun.

Go to the party and have fun! Don't wear stupid crap like a big giant belt buckle with a pot leaf or a four letter word on it, or a huge chain hooked to your wallet, or any of that other ignorant juvenile stuff. Wear some nice jeans or cotton trouser slacks with a nice shirt. And DON'T wear some T with a stupid message on it.

You're a good looking guy with a very likeable look about your facial expression. One tip I'd give is that you should PM Tony and ask him to delete the photos asap. Or just delete them off photobucket if you can (I've no idea how that thing works). There seems little point in taking the risk that someone you know browses this site and might recognise you - but obviously it's up to you how bothered you are by that possibility.

Ha, I actually love the backward baseball cap -- I'm always turning my fiance's cap around, and he says what you did: that I make him look thuggish! To the OP -- I think you are an above average looking guy, especially if you have a good personality to match! Maybe you should talk to a hairstylist to ask about a different style that would help you feel more confident, or maybe confide in a female friend you think is stylish for input on your clothes. But I don't see any glaring flaws! I think everybody goes through stages of insecurity. Good luck with the party!

How old are you? 18-19 I think you need to work on your confidence.. this is the #1 turn-on for ALL women/girls.. trust me on that one.. Confidence is the sexiest attribute someone can have.. Are you sporty? Intellectual? Doesn't matter really... Just be nice, smile (also a turn-on)... You've got the whole life in front of you.. just enjoy every moment.

Right now, you have that hair at a weird length which kinda looks like a crewcut. It's sticking up on it's own, and not in a good way. Other than that. a nice pair of jeans that fit well, a nice shirt that is not Ed Hardy or striped, and not too tight, but tight enough that it fits well. A good pair of boots, and a slim fitting leather coat, and you are good to go. You kinda look "frat boy" right now. If that's your thing, you are on target.

You confidence is going to come from knowing what to say to approach girls you dont know. So figure out some conversation starters to use and start with that. The reactions you get from the women will give you the confidence you need to get better. Thats all it takes.
Author Slu27 Posted October 1, 2009 Author Posted October 1, 2009 Hey thanks for the responses guys! well i have to say, I am a freshman in college (i play on the baseball team so yes I am percieved as an athlete) and the reason my confidence is low right now is because most of my friends know plenty of girls, and often at parties hook up with them. I have not had that luck and unfortunatly i ALWAYS have to approach girls to talk to them. My problem is mustering up the courage to talk with them and then carrying on with the conversation, any tips on ice breakers and conversation subjects? I knew my hair would be a problem and it still kinda is, the problem is its very thick and straight so its hard to style, if it gets to be a long buzz its "poofy" but i have never grown it out more than 1 inch haha. I think to the next house party I will wear blue jeans with a red or blue ralph lauren polo shirt, and some nice shoes.

Not intense, not sad, but somewhere in between those two. The girl in the first photo looked friendly and relaxed, and those are the kind of vibes you want to send out when meeting people. Trust me, they'll respond much more quickly no matter WHAT you look like. you're a cutie pie, by the way
