JL911 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 So anyways I know the whole deal about my old posts about changing and then coming back and blaming myself....Oddly enough some great things have happened here as of late... A girl I have known since highschool and I have been talking past couple days...Just your normal stuff IMs and Facebook BS. Well we got into talking about stuff and she said something to the point of she just feels shes average looking....I returned with an "if you were single id ask you out" her reply..."I am single, dork!" Well needless to say we laughed and went on with our convo. Last night she emails me saying theres a Bday party tonight and I am welcome to come if I am free...Im so going...lol Then...I get a just simple hello from a girl from a dating site I have joined. I reply back simple hey and eventually we exchange AIM names and have been talking all morning while at work...Very playful...very fun...

I was a lead guitarist in my band and we partied like rockstars...The swagger was there...I was pretty much a wild man...But slowly this one crept in on me...My partying got few and far between and I eventually settled down and grew up... Here I am now...Here I go again...

Phone had some minor issues and wasnt getting texts...I texted the gal who wanted me to go out and never got anything back...weird. So i was out with my buddy who was like "I texted you last night...WTF" Realizing I didnt get it I had to reset my phone...I then got 9 texts from people including the girl who asked me to come out. She was like where are ya...I texted back Im out in _____, how long you gonna be there...She texts back I dunno message me if you're coming...After a few drinks with my buddy i decided to roll out. On the way over i get another text You should come hang out....My response "I'll be there in 10"...It was like she didnt expect me to come then all of a sudden I showed... We hung out for a bit and eventually she hada take her drunk friends home...But on the way out she hugged me and said, "So when you taking me out on a date?"... Awesome...

She took her drunk friends home huh? How sweet. I like the fact that she was upfront with you for a second time. Now, take this girl on a date already!

Going okay and i'm not expecting anything serious just yet buts she's great fun and really enjoying getting to know her. My ex at times was so serious at times but this girl is the total opposite. we'll see;)
