He left me a message last night, 11h40 (the imbecile).. I didn't pick up the phone.. I was in bed... anyway... He's a PI (retired cop)... and I find his stories amazingly interesting.. Last week.. he was hired to follow an 'ex'... the woman wanted to know if her 'ex' had a gf... My gawd... how 'desperate' can someone be... to waste money on something like that.. But he laughed ... he's getting good money...

Yes... I can understand people hiring PI to follow their spouse.. but an 'ex'... she's nuts.. He worked on this for 4 hours last weekend.. he never showed up... so 4 hours spent for nothing.. she still doesn't know.. so she got to hire him again another time.. Then what? what if he does have a GF??? .. stupid.. stupid.. waste of money.. IMO

There is more than 1 reason why anyone hires a PI, she probably has a reason for wanting to know if he had an ... I don't see the big hoo-haa here. I wouldn't be calling anyone stupid over this matter..

I think it's irrelevent to be calling someone stupid for the choices they make - without knowing the full story, which in my opinion, the PI shouldn't be sharing with anyone else

He is very interesting.. so I know I'll find out more interesting stories... He had just finished a long interview last night when he called (on his message), he's been on a very serious case for months now.. but it's for a law firm.. a big law sue.. but he mostly does marital stuff... one woman set up her H... she left for the weekend.. so he (cop) could 'bust' him.. not sure if he got him...
boldjack Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I think that people hire PI's more for reassurance, than anything else. If a person has drinking/gambling/adultery issues, their close family/friends probably already know about it, and probably have been lied to, about it, so they hire the PI to see if the person is telling them the truth, or continuing the bad behavior.

I don't know yet.. probably... but so far.. he hasn't even talked to my breasts... he only told me I had an amazing bum... We spent time in the spa.. but he didn't even tried to kiss me.. You should probably move to NYC or Toronto, Ottawa isn't that big, and you are going to run out of available men.

'Available' is a pretty wide spectrum for Lizzie and not what societal norms classify as 'available'

It's over with my last 'new' guy (the foreman on the construction site)... 3 weeks now.. I'm sure he's married.. everything pointed that way... he just kept lying about it.. Oh.. I should hire a PI...

He followed me for about 3 days, then I stopped him and offered to introduce him to the "floozy of the moment". Then I kicked his heiny and went on my merry way.:laugh:
