Otep Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 ya know wives just suck sometimes especially mine i would love for her to go on wife swap and see what its like to be married to some fat drunken slob that dosent do anything with his life and is a pos. It just pisses me off that my wife wont change so many talks an nowhere just comes home and does nothing and gets fat and isnt interested in sex or taking care of herself or looking pretty or anything. Everyone was right they change when they get married and it sucks. I would so love to get a divorce and be with someone with appreciates me but it sucks to have to pay for a divorce and then child support and have evrything go in her favor and ultimately in the end not have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. It just sucks

A counselor I saw once said, "sometimes people like this have to be jolted back to reality" - she suggested that since I'd exausted all 'talking' that I take action & leave so that he would know that I meant business when I said to stop the drinking yadda yadda yadda. Could be your wife doesn't think that you mean it when you say this upsets you. Give her a lil' jolt! & see what happens....Just be prepared if she wants to be apart too - cuz there are 2 sides to every story.
quankanne Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I'm sorry to hear you've got a sucky marriage – it's never 100 percent good, no matter HOW much you love your mate, but more like a constant effort to keep things on a level you can enjoy. that said, what is YOUR role in keeping your marriage sucky? You've shared all the things that your wife has done wrong, now tell us what YOU are doing wrong that can be rectified to make it a better relationship. or is the burden completely on her to make the marriage good?
