loveslife Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 So, tell me honestly guys, do you really not mind doing it during that time of the month?
aerogurl87 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I had an ex who didn't mind doing it one bit during that time. Then I had another who was horrified at the thought of doing it to me "while blood was spewing from my insides" as he put it. So I guess to each it's own.

I think guys are a tad bit skittish about talking about "womanly things" on a dating message board.
Sam Spade Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 meh, it's not the greatest scenario, but I wouldn't refrain from doing it just because of it:). my biggest, and pretty much only, objection is the apparent necessity to change the sheets afterwards . also, oral is out of the question .
SoulSearch_CO Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I've only had one guy that acted like I slaughtered a small animal on him. It actually really turned me off that he was being such a baby about it when the guy was all into hunting and butchering elk, deer, etc. Other than that one guy, haven't had an issue.
boldjack Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I have done it many times, and it's no big deal for me. That's what showers and towels are for.
Island Girl Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Some care a bit but not enough to not do it. (My best friend's husband is one of these.) Some don't care at all and will do anything and everything regardless. (My cousin's husband is one of these.) Some care so much there is no way they will even think about sex during those days. (My husband is one of these.) In the end it the only one that matters is whatever the individual you date/marry prefers. Mine, yeah I wish he was like the first guy, but it certainly is in no way a deal breaker because it is only 4 days.
dreamergrl Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Oh I remember that time a few years ago I got mine a few weeks too early - while having sex. That guy didn't want to see me ever again. Then there's guys who will do while in the shower, because you get cleaned right off. But most of my exes did not want anything to do with intercourse while I was having that joyous time of the month.
boldjack Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 My opinion has always been that if a man is stopped from having sex, by a little "flow", he really isn't that into it, in the first place. The best time to have sex, is whenever you can.

Star Gazer Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 My BF doesn't care at all. I sometimes do, sometimes don't.
Trialbyfire Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 My fiance does care and so do I, which works just fine for both of us!
Leia Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 So, tell me honestly guys, do you really not mind doing it during that time of the month? I don't mind ... at all unless I am having crazy cramps!
GorillaTheater Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Over the course of my life I've spent a fair amount of time knee-deep (sometimes literally) in crap, guts, and vomit. The last thing that's going to bother me is a little "flow". But my wife? It's a total no go during that time.
bayouboi Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Don't care a bit, just throw down a towel and get it on. No oral tho.
BCCA Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I can wait a few days, personally. I'm not repulsed by it or anything, but its just not my thing.
phineas Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I have done it many times, and it's no big deal for me. That's what showers and towels are for. Pretty much this
sumdude Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I have done it many times, and it's no big deal for me. That's what showers and towels are for. Agree.. unless it's one of those especially heavy days then usually the women wouldn't want to either.
dreamergrl Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I'd rather wait to be done with those days before having sex. Whether it grosses the guy out or not. I feel dirty and icky and sex would be no fun feeling like that. Besides - waiting a few days and building up anticipation!

Author loveslife Posted September 30, 2009 Author Posted September 30, 2009 Okay. My turn to weigh in on the question I raised! I've only done it one or two times during that time of the month. It's something I avoid. Not my cup of tea. Sex during my period has never been pressed on me by bf's. Usually I'd just say, "I have my period" and they'd be like, okay, another time. Generally I'd do something if they were in need. But waiting a few days tends not to be a big deal. Now, the time I spewed crap, guts and vomit at them did feel like kind of a big deal.
GorillaTheater Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Oh, so now you equate Aunt Flow to crap, guts, and vomit? What a visual... Hey, I was only trying to establish that I'm a hardened veteran of yucky stuff.
boldjack Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I hear what GT is saying. I'm a combat Vet, a farmer, a hunter and fisherman,AND have fathered 5-6 kids. I'm not that squeemish. If she is good for it, then I'm there.
carhill Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 So, tell me honestly guys, do you really not mind doing it during that time of the month? No worries. Nothing repulsive about a perfectly human process. Now, the time I spewed crap, guts and vomit at them did feel like kind of a big deal. All out of the same orifice? Hmm....
aerogurl87 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Well I like doing it while I'm on my period (helps get rid of my cramps), unless of course I'm really heavy and then that's just weird.
