sungrl Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 anyone ever have very bad pains before their period to the point where you cant sit or lay down or function? sweating that you are in so much pain?
Monster Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 sungrl, I'm so sorry if you are having that kind of pain. Check out the symptoms for endometriosis. If they fit, look into it a bit more. Also, I find that Aleve helps for that type of pain, but you've got to take food and lots of water with it. One tablet should do the trick.
leap83 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Do you exercise? Also, do you wear warm clothes before your period (like warm socks and jeans, etc)? I had a lot of pain throughout the years and then I found out that as long as I make sure to wear warm clothes before my period and exercise tons (running mostly), the pain will go away. I used to take Ibuprofen which would work its magic within like 5-10 minutes but now I don't have to anymore. Now I don't even get the signs that I'm supposed to get it...
Els Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 If it is that bad, I would sincerely advise you to go get a checkup at a gyne. Not to scare you, but extremely severe period pain could be a symptom of several more serious diseases.
