LubbaDub Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 when they're not into the relationship anymore? or is it because they're just rlly comfortable? My boyfriend and i have been together for 3months now and he's acting the way he did when we FIRST started dating. he doesn't IM me alot anymore.. or talk alot on IM. in school it's been normal. we'll laugh and joke but he only holds my hand SOMETIMES. and SOMETIMES he'll kiss me. like a peck and that's it. before we had our argument he was always puttin his arms around me and everything. he showed more affection than he does now. (we had an argument about him wanting to be single. he told he did and started acting like a complete ass to me and then apologized and said he was just stressed and confused and that he didnt wanna lose me and he loved me)... when we're in school if he doesnt kiss or hug me sometimes he'll tell me he loves me and walk away... but idk i just think hes holding something back. is he losing interest or maybe hes just too comfortable with the relationship? he asked me today if he could kick his friend in the butt(shes a girl and she has a bf) ; i thought that was rlly awkward to ask me. anyways, any advice for me? to make our relationship better. oh and another thing is.. he hasnt asked me to hang out in a week. he still waits for me before and after class. still comes to my locker and everything ... is he just with me 'cause if he breaks up w/ me he'll feel guilty? its all about skateboarding to him now and hanging with the "boys" i know summer is over and now its school again and he wants to be with his friends but... i kinda feel neglected like he doesnt want me... idk.. help?
audrey_1 Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 From my experience it would seem that he's losing interest. Lessening the affection shown has always pointed to this, at least for me. I would just back off. Don't ask a bunch of questions. Don't shower him with any affection, either. You should be able to argue and move on from it, if the relationship is worth something. Give it some time. Don't panic or act differently. See if he comes to you. If he doesn't, only then should you mention the change in his behavior and see what he says. If he gets defensive, it could mean he has completely lost interest, or that there's someone else.
