Author New Again Posted September 23, 2009 Author Posted September 23, 2009 I love when they're a little bit protective; I think it's cute, but hard to verbalize exactly what I mean. When you don't exactly realize they're doing it, but they do something to make you just a little bit safer. When this happens it usually occurs to me after the fact.

GorillaTheater Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 You women are so shallow. I'm more than just my dick. Well, to some extent.

xpaperxcutx Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 They can be pretty cute snoring in the bed next to you. Especially when you're usually the one to wake up first, you look over to your left or right ( depending on the side of the bed you sleep in) and you just can't help but love the calm and peaceful look on their face when they open their eyes at ya and stare lovingly at you.
hoping2heal Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I like how funny they can be and how nice they can be without having to be catty or constantly put others down. I like that they don't really thrive on gossip and have a really compassionate side.

sweetjasmine Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 It's kind of hard to say things in general about men and not just describe my man. I've known a lot of different men with a lot of different great qualities, but it's hard to think of universal things. I love how practical men can be sometimes. I love how loyal they are. I love how protective they are and how willing they are to defend the people they love. I love how hard they work to fix problems. I love how even the toughest man can be loving, caring, and sweet to people he cares about.

My honey bunny snuggle puff is the CUTEST, SWEETEST sleeper in the world. Then again..he's the cutest and sweetest everything..not that I'm biased . Oh but when we sleeps..it just melts me completely. I think he could get me to scale mountains (ok consider the possiblity!) when he is like that. Oh man what a boo boo he is.
AlektraClementine Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Some things I adore about the menfolk: I love how their brain works when it comes to fixing something. They're all MacGyver's at heart. I love how it feels to lay my head on the dude's chest and feel completely safe. I love their practicality when I'm over emotionalizing something. If I'm upset over something at work, no one offers more sound advice than my guy. I love watching a man drive his car. I adore listening to male banter. When a couple of close guy friends are sitting around watching a game or having a beer, they goat each other and make wise cracks. Men are SO good about taking that stuff with a grain of salt and dishing it right back out.

dreamergrl Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I love it when you have a special man and he holds you and strokes your hair. In the way that you say nothing, but just smile.
anne1707 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 When he puts his arms around you and wherever you are, you know you are home
Trialbyfire Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 To get specific, he's adorable with his fixation on cooking with flame and flirting with danger while doing it (propane BBQ). If there aren't any elements of this, he's totally disinterested in cooking. The other is his fixation with power tools. He will not use a regular tool. It's got to be a power tool. Once again, this is adorable.

Tell me about it! One Christmas I got Wuggle a Dremel as a last minute present - it certainly wasn't his main present. But whenever anybody asked him what he got, the Dremel was always the first thing to be mentioned
sweetjasmine Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I love it when you have a special man and he holds you and strokes your hair. In the way that you say nothing, but just smile. When he puts his arms around you and wherever you are, you know you are home Yes to both of those. And when he looks at me and smiles. Or when he wakes up in the morning and kisses me on the forehead while I'm half-asleep. I love the way men gently tease and poke fun. I love how adventurous they are.
Taramere Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Men I like: Bring energy and fun into a situation. Have a way of making me laugh at myself when I'm in the middle of a rant. Lift heavy items with glee. With a couple of my male friends who I've known since I was a teen, and also with my brother at times (and, fortunately, his wife) I can indulge in the kind of utterly childish humour that makes me laugh until I cry. Much as I love my female friends, I can only get back into that completely childish frame of mind with a small percentage of them. Most of them would react with concern or alarm. Or give a faint "I don't get it. You're weird..." smile.
anne1707 Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 The way he makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world, even when I have a rotten cold and haven't slept
Rollercoasterr Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 I love how my honeybunny wakes up instantly whenever I get out of bed. He looks at me all sleepy eyed and usually grunts with this cute little face like "Where yooo goin?". Most of the time he pulls me back down and wraps his arms and legs around me and doesn't let me move. He's the cutest cuddler ever. I love how his eyes light up whenever I ask him to reach for something for me. I'm only 5"1 and it just delights him to be helpful. I always admired that about men. I also love how he eats when I cook for him. He lives alone and doesn't cook that must because, well, he could burn water. But whenever we're together and I cook for him he hovers over his plate and eats it like it's the last meal he'll ever get. I don't even think he really stops to breathe. I just find it so adorable that something I make can make this well-mannered and charming man act like he's a caveman. It's very hard, however, to keep him out of the kitchen when I'm cooking. I basically have to threaten his life, lol. And of course, his bedroom skills. And he's got plentyyy.
quankanne Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 definitely the sense of humor thing ... it seems like a guy feels secure with you as a partner, their goofy, silly side comes out. Like DH making piggy faces just to hear me giggle. also, the feeling of security they bring to a situation that has you worried or fretting over. Like, "everything's gonna be okay now, I'm here for you."
sally4sara Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 You women are so shallow. I'm more than just my dick. Well, to some extent. I like the male tendency said "dick" and "extent" in the same post..... Just kidding, sort of. I like how I can have something bothering me and I tell a guy friend about it and their response leaves me wondering why I let it bother me so much. The conversation moves on to something else after five minutes. I could take the same situation to a female friend and we will be wallowing in it for an hour or more with me feeling more agitated about what was pissing me off than I was when I showed up.
